Elizabeth attended University of California, Santa Barbara and received a Bachelors in Music Performance (2010-2014). At UCSB she studied with Bill Booth (Los Angeles Opera) and was a fellow of the scholarship Maurice Faulkner Brass Quintet. She continued her education at University of Washington studying with tubist Chris Olka and bass trombonist Stephen Fissel for her Masters degree in Trombone Performance (2014-2016). At University of Washingtion, Elizabeth participated in the UW Symphony Orchestra, UW Wind Ensemble, and UW Modern Ensemble as well as several chamber ensembles.
Elizabeth has participated in masterclasses with Andrew Malloy, Noah Gladstone, Alan Kaplan, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, John Ericson, Joseph Alessi, Pete Ellefson, Sim Flora, and Jon Whitaker. She traveled to Bejing and Shanghai with the University of Washington Wind Ensemble and played the China premiere of Eric Ewazen's Shadowcatcher for brass quintet and wind ensemble.
